Kolkata. The rape and murder of a trainee doctor of RG Kar Medical College has shaken the entire country. People across the country took to the streets to demand justice for the doctor. Doctors of various medical colleges and hospitals left their work and raised the flag of protest. After the intervention of the Supreme Court, the doctors announced to return to work. Meanwhile, the main accused of the gruesome incident, Sanjay Roy, is in the clutches of the CBI. Former West Bengal minister and former close aide of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Partha Chatterjee, is also lodged in the same jail where Sanjay Roy is kept. Sanjay Roy and Partha Chatterjee are neighbours in jail.

The noose is tightening around Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College. After medical checkup, Sanjay Roy has been sent to Presidency Jail. Partha Chatterjee, accused in the corruption case, is also lodged in the same jail. Partha Chatterjee has also been a minister in Mamata government. Let us tell you that Partha Chatterjee was once considered close to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Sanjay has been kept under CCTV surveillance amid tight security. Also, two special guards have been deployed for Sanjay Roy’s security so that no untoward incident takes place.

Interrogation of former principal of medical college
In the case of the murder of a trainee doctor after brutality at RG Kar Medical College, the CBI has obtained permission to conduct a polygraph test of former principal Sandip Ghosh and five others. The five other suspects include four doctors who had dinner with the trainee doctor on the night of the incident. The CBI has already obtained permission to conduct a polygraph test of Sanjay Roy, the main accused in the heinous incident. In this case that has shaken the entire country, the CBI has interrogated former principal Sandip Ghosh for the longest time. Now the CBI will find out the truth and lies through the polygraph test. Sanjay Roy’s associate and suspended ASI of Kolkata Police, Anup Dutta, has also been interrogated.

CBI investigation
CBI is investigating the murder of a trainee doctor in RG Kar Hospital. The doctor community of the whole country went on strike to protest against this incident. However, on the request of the central government and the Supreme Court, doctors in many cities have called off the strike. But the strike is still on in RG Kar Hospital. At the same time, during the hearing on Thursday, the Supreme Court also appealed to return to work and said that do not be afraid, no action will be taken against you. At the same time, the CBI has interrogated 73 people so far in 8 days.
