In a heartbreaking incident in Prahladpur area of South East Delhi, a young man Shoaib (age 28) was stabbed to death. The incident took place near Prem Nagar Public Toilet, where apart from the deceased, his brother Mohsin and his friend Akram were also injured in a knife. The police have arrested three accused from the spot, and the investigation of the case is going on.
How did the incident begin?
According to DCP South East Ravi Singh, the police received information about the incident at 11 pm. The deceased Shoaib’s mother Sabuta told the police that Shoaib came back home and told that she was slapped by a man named Munna and Sunny. After this, Shoaib and his brother Mohsin went to Munna’s house and inquired why they did so. Meanwhile, a debate started between the two sides and Munna and his companions Imtiaz attacked Shoaib, Mohsin and Akram with a knife.
Serious injured Shoaib dies
Shoaib was seriously injured during the attack and fell there. Shoaib’s friend Akram was also injured while intervening. Shoaib’s brother Shahzad immediately called the police, and Shoaib was rushed to the hospital. However, doctors declared Shoaib dead. Mohsin’s condition remained critical, and was referred to Safdarjung Hospital.
Rapid action and arrest of police
The police immediately took action and arrested three accused. They have been identified as Feroz alias Munna, Imtiaz and Saudagar Khan alias Sunny. Police have also recovered two knives used in the attack. After the incident, the police sent the crime team to the spot and investigated, and looked at all aspects.
