New Delhi: During the Independence Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his concern about nepotism and casteism in politics. The Prime Minister appealed to the countrymen and said that new people should be given opportunities in politics whose families do not have any political background. Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about bringing forward one lakh such youth to save political parties from nepotism.
PM Modi made this appeal to the youth
He said that these one lakh youth should come from families that have no connection with politics. The Prime Minister said that such one lakh people, fresh blood should come to the Gram Panchayat, Nagar Palika, Zila Parishad, Vidhan Sabha or Lok Sabha. Such fresh people should come into politics without any political history of their family.
PM Modi spoke on nepotism and casteism
In his address from the Red Fort, the Prime Minister said, I always express my concern that nepotism and casteism are causing a lot of harm to India’s democracy. We have to free the country’s politics from nepotism and casteism. The Prime Minister said that one of the missions is that we want to bring forward one lakh such youth as people’s representatives in political life as soon as possible, we want to bring forward such youth whose family members have no political background, whose parents, siblings, uncles, etc. have not been in politics. No one in any generation has been in politics.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister said that it is not necessary that such youth should join only one party, they should join any party of their choice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this will bring freedom from nepotism, casteism. Democracy will prosper. The Prime Minister said that the country should decide that in the coming days, one lakh such youth whose family has no remote connection with politics will be taken into politics. This will bring new thinking, new power and democracy will be strengthened.
