Kidneys and inflammation – If the kidney is getting damaged or there is swelling in the whole body then drinking decoction of Madhumalati bark is very beneficial.
Problems of girls- Nowadays girls are suffering from PCOD or any hormonal imbalance and a decoction of its bark is very beneficial in that. It can also be used to reduce obesity.
Panacea for women- Women suffer from leucorrhoea or white discharge. In such a case, extract fresh juice of its flowers and consume it because it has very high nutritional value and it provides relief from problems like back pain and bone pain.
Prevention of skin diseases- If someone has skin disease, itching or wounds then applying a paste made from its leaves is beneficial.
Relief in cough- If someone has a cough problem. For example, if someone is drinking Tulsi decoction, then adding Madhumaalti leaves to it and consuming it provides a lot of relief. A lot of research has also been done on this.

If someone is having fever or urinary infection, then consuming decoction of the remaining water after soaking the flowers and bark provides relief from burning sensation in urine.
