Even after all the modernity, the transgender community is still shrouded in many mysteries. Many questions remain in the minds of most people regarding the physical structure of transgenders, their lifestyle and customs. Sharad Dwivedi’s book has been published by Lokbharati Prakashan. The mysterious and mysterious life of eunuchs An attempt has been made to answer all such questions. Here is an excerpt from the book-
Sexual perversion differentiates Kinnars from ordinary men and women. This perversion is a symbol of their purity. This is why Kinnars are considered to be born superior. If a Kinnar is seen in the morning, then that day the person concerned definitely gets some achievement. The arrival of Kinnars in someone’s house is very beneficial. This is why one of the names of Kinnars is Mangalamukhi, which means one who brings good or auspiciousness to everyone. While the literal meaning of Hijra is one whose heart is studded with diamonds. Such a person does not harm anyone, let alone have any ill intentions in his mind. Kinnars wish for the welfare of every person. If a Kinnar comes to give his blessings in someone’s marriage or any other auspicious occasion, then understand that his life has become successful.
It is often seen that on auspicious occasions, groups of eunuchs visit people’s homes and sing and ask for money. On the birth of a child, a wedding ceremony, or when the bride comes to the house, eunuchs go to congratulate. According to their capacity, everyone tries to please the eunuchs by giving them money and gifts. No one wants that the eunuchs return from their house angry or disappointed, because insulting a eunuch is inauspicious. Whereas the person from whose house the eunuchs leave happily gets auspicious results in some form or the other. This belief about eunuchs has been going on for centuries, which is true to a large extent. We can easily see its effect around us. If seen from a religious and astrological point of view, eunuchs are considered to be the symbol of the planet Mercury.
Acharya Vidyakant Pandey, Director of Parashar Jyotish Sansthan Prayagraj, says that Mercury is one such planet among the nine planets which is known as the life force and nature. Mercury is the planet responsible for the difference between life and gender. Mercury is considered impotent. Eunuchs are also impotent. This is the reason why eunuchs are considered the symbol of Mercury. This is the reason why there is a tradition of giving donations to eunuchs on Wednesday.
God has given the power to neutralize negative energy to eunuchs. According to Garuda Purana, eunuchs do not have to go through Sutak because they come under the category of sub-gods. Eunuchs are not part of any religion.
If you bless them with a true heart, it never goes in vain. It is believed that if a person’s Mercury planet is bad and he is facing financial, mental and physical problems, then such people should worship the eunuchs and donate to them. By donating to the eunuch, all the troubles related to Mercury planet of the person are removed.
Blessings were received from Lord Shri Ram
In Treta Yuga, when Lord Shri Ram left Ayodhya and left the palace to spend 14 years in exile, the subjects of the kingdom and the people of the transgender community also started following him. On reaching the banks of the Tamsa river, Shri Ram urged all the men and women to return to Ayodhya. On Shri Ram’s request, all the men and women returned, but the transgenders stayed on the banks of the Tamsa river for 14 years. When Shri Ram was returning to Ayodhya after conquering Lanka with Mother Sita, he saw the transgenders at the same place. Shri Ram was surprised to see the transgenders. He came to the transgenders and asked, why did you people not go back from here? Then the transgenders bowed to Shri Ram and said that you had asked the men and women to go back. We are neither men nor women. We are transgenders, so how could we return without your permission?
Lord Shri Ram was very pleased with this devotion of the eunuchs. He blessed the eunuchs that their blessings will always be fruitful. Eunuchs will always be superior to men and women. The work of the person whom they bless with their heart will definitely be fruitful. Due to this quality, eunuchs will be revered and respected by everyone. Since then, eunuchs give their blessings to remove the suffering of common people on auspicious occasions like birth of a child, marriage etc. This is the reason why the blessings of eunuchs are considered irrefutable. If a eunuch showers his blessings on someone, then that person easily attains the path of success. If someone does not have children and a eunuch prays for him with all his heart, then he gets children. If a eunuch vows for someone who is facing problems in his job or business, then every problem is resolved quickly. Also, the person moves forward rapidly on the path of success.
One should not take a curse
One should not curse a Kinnar by making him angry. If a Kinnar curses someone from the heart, then that person may be harmed. He has to face physical, divine and material troubles. According to Acharya Vidyakant Pandey, it is a religious belief that the one who insults or makes fun of a Kinnar has to become a Kinnar in the next birth. This is the reason why elders say that if you cannot please a Kinnar, then you should not insult him. Kinnars do not curse anyone without any reason. They shower their blessings on everyone. When someone troubles them a lot, only then they bring negative feelings and thoughts in their mind, otherwise they think about everyone’s welfare.
