Under the Operation Ganga Mission, the Government of India is continuously taking the help of the Air Force to bring back the Indians trapped between the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine. Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said that today 3726 Indian citizens in distress will be brought back to India in a single day.
The war between Russia and Ukraine continues for the eighth consecutive day. In view of the increasing threat, many countries including India have intensified the evacuation operation to evacuate their citizens. Giving information, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia in the Government of India said that 3726 Indians will be brought back to India from Bucharest, the capital of Romania, under Operation Ganga. To bring all these back 8 flights will be operated from Bucharest, 2 from Suceva, 1 from Kosice, 5 from Budapest and 3 from Rézo.
