In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian armed forces attacked terrorists’ bases in Pakistan and PoK under ‘Operation Sindoor’. These are such identified places from where terrorist attacks against India were planned and directed. Overall, nine (9) bases have been targeted, in which the terrorist site Markaj Subhan Allah Bahawalpur, Markaj Tayiba, Muridke, Sarjal/Tehra Kalan, Mahmuna Zoya Suvidha, Sialkot, Markaj Ahle Hadith Barnala, Bhimber, Markaj Abbas, Kotli, Muscar Rahel Shahid, Kotli district.
Apart from this, Muzaffarabad includes Shavi Nala Cam, Markaj Syedna Bilal. On this entire operation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi closely monitored the progress overnight with senior officials. Sources confirmed that the Prime Minister was in constant touch with the National Security Advisors and Military Commanders to ensure that the campaign proceeded as per the plan.
