Jaipur. Under the operation “Clean Sweep” being conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Kundan Kanwaria, strict action is being taken against smuggling of illegal drugs in Jaipur city.
In the same sequence, the team of the Commissionerate Jaipur under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, organized crime Richpal Singh, along with the team of Police Station Pratapnagar (East) carried out a major action.
While taking action on the basis of confidential information, drug smuggler Manzoor Alam son Ikram ul Haq was arrested. 5 kg 600 grams of illegal cannabis has been recovered from his possession.
In this regard, a case number 294/2025 has been recorded under Section 8/20 of NDPS Act in Pratapnagar police station. This action of the police is considered to be a tough attack on drug trafficking.
