The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is rapidly constructing the expressway. The main reason for this is to reduce the expenses on logistics. Keeping this in mind, a target has been set to prepare eight expressways in the country next year. These expressways are being built in different parts of the country, so that the entire country can develop.
According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, at present the expenditure on logistics is around 12 percent. Although earlier it was around 15 to 16 percent. A target has been set to reach single digit in the country in the next five years. Because of this the expressway will be constructed rapidly.
At present, cargo vehicles i.e. trucks carrying goods travel about 400 km daily. Let’s cover the distance. This figure is only 50 percent according to international standards. The ministry will rapidly build the expressway only to increase it.
