Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a special strategy in India’s plan regarding China. Under this, PM Narendra Modi has done a detailed study on all the aspects related to it. As a result of this, today the border villages of the country are being called the first village and not the last village of the country. These villages are being developed and through this, China is also being controlled. Under this, the Modi government has made such a plan, which even the cunning China does not have a counter to. For this, the government is building a road till the door of China, so that any attempt to interfere in our border again can be thwarted. Under this plan, the Border Road Organization (BRO) has started the third phase of the strategy of building a road on the India-China border in collaboration with the Central Public Works Department and the National Project Construction Corporation.
In 2020, when China came to the Galwan Valley in Ladakh and interfered in the Indian border, there was a clash between the borders of the two countries. Since then, the Modi government started working on continuous road construction planning to make the Indian border more robust. Under this, the construction of wide roads was started on the India-China border Line of Actual Control (LOC). India and China share a 3,488-kilometer border from Arunachal Pradesh to Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The government took a big step to build a road on this entire border. Regarding this, the government took three-tier steps and made a strategy.
Such a strategy was made for the third phase
Under the third phase of road construction, the government will build 5 new roads in eastern Ladakh. Apart from this, many roads will be converted from 2 to 4 lanes. Under the third phase, the government is also going to build the world’s highest tunnel. This 4.1 kilometer long tunnel is being built at an altitude of 16,580 feet and its construction work has started this week. After the completion of the construction of this tunnel, one can easily reach Ladakh from Manali in any season.
This kind of work was done in the first and second phase
The government had prepared a plan to build 73 roads under the first and second phases, out of which the BRO has almost completed the construction of 61 roads. The government has allocated Rs 6,500 crore for the third phase for road construction. Apart from this, Rs 1,050 crore has also been allocated to the Home Ministry for the development of villages located on the border. Under the project, 2,967 villages in 19 districts are to be developed. These villages are from Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Ladakh region.
Villages are also developing
Let us tell you that the government is not only developing roads on the border, but is also giving full emphasis on the development of villages. Under the first phase, 662 villages were identified, out of which 455 were from Arunachal Pradesh and 35 were from Ladakh. After the clash with China in Doklam, the government has set a target of building 470 kilometers of roads every year, so that road construction on the China border can be completed as soon as possible.
BJP’s youth spokesperson Jairam Viplav believes that PM Narendra Modi’s foreign policy reflects a sense of practicality in which he respects everyone and also talks eye to eye. PM Narendra Modi’s policy with China should be understood in this context. Jairam Viplav also believes that PM Modi’s foreign policy is not made against any country but keeping in mind India’s development and interests. He says that Modi ji keeps in mind the global needs as well as India’s interests.
