From the very next day of the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, PM Modi started his daily routine in such a way that it became clear that he is not going to budge from his agenda in the game of numbers. On the morning of June 5, PM Modi started the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign by planting a sapling in the Buddha Jayanti Park in Delhi on the occasion of the ninth World Environment Day. This new campaign of PM Modi is to create a mass movement across the country in which people come forward and plant more than one crore trees across the country. He had started something similar in 2014, when he announced the Swachhata Movement. Which was adopted not only by the elderly but also by the children. Addressing the BJP workers after the results, PM Modi remembered his mother and said, ‘Today’s moment is an emotional moment for me personally, this is the first election after my mother’s death, but crores of mothers and sisters of the country have given her their love and blessings which cannot be seen in the figures. The women of the country have broken all the records of voting. This is what is embedded in his mind. That is why he started with an emotional issue, ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’
Clear mandate for NDA
The truth is that the public may have reduced the number of seats for BJP, but they have given the mandate to NDA. A mandate of more than 290 will easily take the third term of Modi government to victory. It is another matter that in UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, it will be important for PM Modi to know where the last mistake was made. Obviously, the blame game continues after losing, but despite PM Modi’s name and hard work, the setback in a few states shows that there is also a need for those who have their ears to the ground. It is certain that there will be brainstorming, because the target is a developed India by 2047… so some course correction will have to be done, in which PM Modi is quite an expert.
Congratulatory messages pour in from across the world
In 10 years, PM Modi has made India famous all over the world and has made friends with heads of states. As a result, congratulations started pouring in from heads of governments from all over the world. Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni was among the first to tweet. She congratulated him and wrote, “Congratulations for your good work and victory.” Mauritius’ Pravind Kumar Jagannath congratulated him and said, “This historic third term is fantastic. This victory under your leadership in the world’s largest democracy is special.” Bhutan’s PM Tshering Tobgay wrote, “It is historic to win the world’s largest elections for the third time in a row and you will take India to new heights.” Nepal’s PM Comrade Prachanda wrote, “He is happy with the successful completion of the world’s largest democratic process.” Sri Lanka’s President Ranil Wickremesinghe says, “The victory of the NDA under the leadership of BJP proves how much the Indian people trust the progress being made under Modi’s leadership.”
PM’s first message after the results: uprooting corruption
The first message of the PM was such that it was strengthening his commitment. The PM said at the BJP headquarters that the attack on corruption will continue. Digital India has also closed many avenues of corruption but the fight is getting tougher day by day. Targeting the leaders who stand in defence of the corrupt, PM Modi said that when corruption starts getting glorified for politics, the limit of shamelessness is crossed. The strong message of PM Modi was that the aim of the Modi government in the third term will be to uproot all kinds of corruption.
PM’s second message- If the citizens take 2 steps, Modi will take 4 steps
PM Modi said that even our opponents unitedly could not win as many seats as BJP won alone. Modi told his workers and countrymen that their hard work inspires Modi to work continuously. If you work for 10 hours, Modi will work for 15 hours. If you take 2 steps, Modi will take 4 steps. We countrymen will walk together and take the country forward. The commitment of the NDA government has been to the development of every section. This is Modi’s guarantee.
PM’s third message- mandate has many aspects
The opposition is trying to call it PM Modi’s defeat, but continuing the tradition of addressing the workers in the BJP office after every election, PM Modi himself gave the message that this mandate has many aspects. PM Modi said, for the first time since 1962, a government has returned for the third consecutive time after completing its two terms. NDA got a grand victory in the states where assembly elections were held. Be it Arunachal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha or Sikkim, Congress has been wiped out from all places. It must have become difficult for them to even save their deposit. BJP is going to form the government in Odisha. BJP will have a BJP Chief Minister there. BJP has won the seat in Kerala. The workers of Kerala have sacrificed a lot for generations. Our numbers have doubled in Telangana. We have also done a clean sweep in many states. I am grateful to the people there and assure you that the central government will leave no stone unturned. We are grateful to the people for showing full faith in us. It is the victory of the world’s largest democracy. It is the victory of the pledge of developed India. It is the victory of the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. It is the victory of 140 crore Indians. The PM also congratulated the Election Commission and said that they have shown the mirror to the forces defaming the country across the world.
PM’s fourth message- BJP should maintain dialogue with every section
PM Modi knows why these results came and how to compensate for it. That is why before leaving he told BJP leaders and workers that now we and our workers have to maintain dialogue with people from every section and every section of the society. We do not have time to stop or pause. Big decisions have to be taken for a developed India. PM Modi said that after 6 decades, voters have created a new history. For the first time, a coalition has got the opportunity to serve the people for the third consecutive time. This is a great power of democracy.
By acknowledging the beauty and power of democracy, the PM has made it clear that he is not going to stop.
