New Delhi. In the light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a meeting of the opposition parties involved in opening a front against the Center has been proposed in the capital Patna on June 23. Earlier this meeting was proposed on June 12, but it was postponed in view of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi being on US tour, on which Nitish Kumar reportedly expressed his displeasure. At the same time, today JDU National President Lalan Singh has announced the date of joint meeting of opposition parties in a press conference.

According to media reports, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, NCP chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, CPI General Secretary D Raja, senior Left leaders Sitaram Yechury and Dipankar Bhattacharya will attend the meeting.
