Loharu. Block level road safety competition was successfully organized in Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Loharu. The main objective of this competition was to increase awareness among children about road safety rules and reduce the loss of life and property due to road accidents.
A total of 172 candidates participated in this competition, which was conducted at three different levels. Students from classes 3 to 5 participated in Level 1, students from classes 6 to 8 in Level 2 and students from classes 9 to 12 participated in Level 3.
Block Education Officer Loharu, Vijay Prabha participated in the competition as the chief guest and inspected the examination centers along with school principal Poonam Sheoran. He also checked the admit cards of the children and encouraged the children by saying, “The objective of this competition is not limited to just the examination but is to motivate the children to follow the rules of road safety throughout their life.”
The results of the competition were announced immediately, with children finishing first, second and third at each level selected. These children will get the opportunity to participate in district and regional level competitions.
The contribution of the school teachers was important in the successful organization of this program, which included Sunita, Sumit Sheoran, Anil Kataria, Sombir Shastri, Kamal Sharma, Rajeev Arya, Rajesh, Mahesh, Jagbir, Umed Singh, Babita Rani, Renu Sharma, Neeraj Sharma, Rao Ishwar, Suresh Kumar, Sanjay and Sumer were included.
The school administration expressed gratitude to all the participants and teachers, and viewed it as a commendable effort in the field of road safety.
