Dausa. A special yoga session was organized at the Government Medical College in Dausa under the joint aegis of Rotary Club, AYUSH Department and Patanjali Yoga Committee under the joint aegis of Rotary Club, AYUSH Department and Patanjali Yoga Committee on the occasion of International Yoga Day 2025. The program was conducted by Principal Dr. Sumita A. Was done under the guidance of Jain. Its main objective was to connect the students, teachers and staff of the medical college with the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga.
Inauguration and beginning of yoga session
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Om Prakash Chaturvedi, Deputy Director of AYUSH Department, Shivshankar Soni from Rotary Club and Associate Professor Dr. Daljit Kaur with Mangalacharan. The yoga session was conducted by Ayush Yoga instructor Ankit Tank, who started the participants and practiced various yogasas. These asanas included Tadasana, Vriksasana, Trigonasana, Padhastasana, Makarasana, Shalabhasana, Uttanapadasana, Ardhalasana, Pawanmuktasana, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, Pranayam, Bhramari etc.
The instructor Tank, while explaining every posture from a simple, simple and scientific point of view, gave information about its benefits and precautions.
More than 150 participants participated
More than 150 medical students, teachers and health workers participated enthusiastically in this yoga session. Yogacharya Narendra Sharma gave information about the concept of “Yoga Unplugged” and campaigns like Yoga Sangam, Green Yoga, Yogpark, Yoga Samangam, whose objective is to connect youth with regular yoga and prevent diseases related to lifestyle.
