Hyderabad. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi, reacting to the violence in Murshidabad, has clearly stated that his party has always condemned the violence and will continue to do so in future. Owaisi said that he is not a spokesperson of the West Bengal government, but believes that the protests should take place in a peaceful manner. He insisted that any kind of violence is condemnable and cannot be accepted. This statement of AIMIM chief has come at a time when the reactions of various political parties and leaders are coming out about the violence in Murshidabad.
Owaisi has clearly condemned the violence and made his party’s stand clear. He appealed to the citizens that if they want to protest against any issue, they should use peaceful and democratic methods. Owaisi also said that violation of law is not acceptable under any circumstances. Owaisi’s statement reflects his party’s relevant policy against violence and emphasizes the importance of peaceful opposition. – agency
