Sangrur. The horrific terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. In this attack, many tourists were victims of terrorists bullets, after which there is an atmosphere of anger and mourning across the country.
In Punjab too, public anger is being seen about this attack. Punjab government cabinet minister Lalchand Katruchak condemned it in strict words, calling it a stigma on humanity.
Lalchand said, “This is a heinous crime, which is a big stain on humanity. Words are falling short for condemnation of this attack. It is a cowardly act. Guru Nanak Dev ji on our earth gave a message of ‘all one identity’ and this attack is against the message. We pay homage to all of them who were martyred in this attack.”
Minister Lalchand Katruchak demanded the central government to take strict action against the culprits of the attack. He said, “The strict action should be taken against the murderers who carried out this attack. The central government should reconsider its policies and strategies, as such incidents often shock the country.”
He described this attack as a challenge not only for Kashmir, but for the whole country and said that it is not a crime against any one religion or community, but against all humanity. Lalchand said, “Whether this attack happened at any time, on any person or community, we condemn it. It is not just a matter of religion or class, but the attack on any human being is unacceptable.”
Demanding strict punishment for the culprits involved in this attack, the minister said that we have to unite and fight against terrorism. This is the time of mourning and anger but it is also time for us to take concrete steps to stop such incidents.
At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave a big statement. He said, “Our country has lost many innocent citizens in a cowardly attack of terrorists, targeting religion in Pahalgam yesterday. This gross inhuman act has submerged all of us in deep grief and pain. First of all, I express my deep condolences to all those families who have lost their loved ones, I pray to God for peace in this sad time.”
