A tragic road accident occurred late Wednesday night in Chhoti Khatu village on the border of Didwana-Nagaur district of Rajasthan. A camper on Ambala Road crushed the mother, son and grandson sitting on a roadside bike. All three died at the accident site. The collision was so severe that the car dragged the car on the road up to 100 feet.
Local people are sitting on dharna.
The locals got angry after the incident and they deliberately accused the camper driver of crushing and killing people and went on strike. However, the police ended the demonstration after explaining at around 1.30 pm. After the incident, a suspect has been detained and further action is being taken according to the law after questioning him.
The bike was standing at the puncture shop.
According to the information received, Bana Bano (50), a resident of Dhani of the peaks of Barnel village of Nagaur district, came to meet her ailing brother, Sherani came to the village of Abad. He was accompanied by his son Ahmed Raza (21) and grandson Aarush Khan (8). While coming back, Ahmed Raza stayed at a puncture shop in Ambala Crossing to fill his bike. Meanwhile, a high speed Bolero Camper vehicle crushed Bana Bano, Ahmed Raja and Aarush Khan standing on the roadside. After the accident, the camper vehicle proceeded and overturned after hitting a wall. Soon after the accident, the driver of the camper ran away from the scene.
Another vehicle was coming to chase the camper.
According to eyewitnesses, another vehicle was chasing the camper and immediately after the accident, many people got down from the vehicle and ran away with the camper driver and the goods kept in the campor. After the incident, a huge crowd gathered at the scene. The people present there informed the police. After this, the police reached the spot and started searching for the camper driver. The bodies of the three dead were taken to the hospital.
