Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gave the information about Aamer Jamal’s exclusion on 19th August.
Amer Jamal has been battling this injury since May
Amer Jamal started his Test career in a very good way, in which he took a total of 18 wickets in the 3-match Test series played on the tour of Australia. Talking about Jamal’s injury, he has been struggling with it since May. When the Pakistani team was announced for the Test series against Bangladesh, it was told at that time that the decision to include Jamal in the playing 11 will be taken on the basis of his fitness. Earlier it seemed that he could return in the second Test but now he is out of this entire series. Jamal was the only fast bowler all-rounder player in the Pakistani team in this series and the name of the replacement player in his place has not been announced by the PCB.
Pakistan may field a fast bowling attack in the first test
Pakistan has to play both the Test matches of the series against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi ground. In this, the team can decide to play without any spin bowler in the first Test. In this situation, apart from Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah, Mir Hamza, Khurram Shahzad and Mohammad Ali can get a place in the playing 11. Jamal will now stay at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore until he is completely fit and will work on his fitness.
