Pakistan wins with a bang, defeats Nepal in Asia Cup, hopes of reaching semi-finals alive


New Delhi. In the Women’s Asia Cup, the Pakistan team tasted victory after losing to India. With a resounding win against Nepal, the team has kept its hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive. Coming to bat first, Nepal’s team could score only 108 runs for 6 wickets. Chasing the target, Pakistan won by 9 wickets on the basis of brilliant innings of openers Gul Ferozza and Muniba Ali.

After losing to India, Pakistan’s team has kept alive the hopes of reaching the semi-finals by registering a win in the Asia Cup. Pakistan’s team, playing its second match of the Women’s Asia Cup against Nepal, played brilliantly. The team improved its net run rate tremendously by winning by 9 wickets in a one-sided match. Captain Nida Dar won the toss against Nepal and chose to bowl first. Fatima Sana and Sadia Iqbal took wickets for the team while the other four bowled tightly and restricted the team to just 108 runs.
