Dubai. The star players of the Indian team are dominating the latest ICC batsmen rankings. Indian captain Rohit Sharma performed brilliantly in the recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka. Due to this, he has gained one position to reach the second position in the list of batsmen in the ICC ODI rankings released on Wednesday. Shubman Gill is at third place while Virat Kohli is at fourth place. Babar Azam of Pakistan has got the top position in the rankings.
The Indian team may have lost the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, but the performance of captain Rohit Sharma was visible. India lost the series 0-2 but Rohit scored 157 runs with two half-centuries at an average of 52.33. The first match of the series was a tie. In the latest ICC ODI batsmen rankings, Shubman Gill has slipped one place to third place while Virat Kohli remains at his fourth position. Pakistan’s Babar Azam currently tops the list with 824 rating points while Rohit has 765 points.
