‘This will be the fate of those with evil intentions’
On Thursday, an official said that this will be the fate of anyone who steps on Indian soil with “nefarious intent”. Officials said that the 45-year-old unarmed intruder had crossed over from Pakistan’s Tuglialpur post late Wednesday night and was shot dead near Khora post in Manguchak area. BSF Jammu Frontier Inspector General DK Bora said near the spot, “At around 10.15 pm, the movement of a person crossing the international border from Pakistan was observed from the forward duty point (of BSF). His movement was monitored and when he entered this side, he was challenged.” Despite heavy rain, Bora along with other senior BSF officials and police officers visited the area in the morning and reviewed the security situation.
Evil intentions will be crushed on Indian soil
The officer said that it seems that the intruder was sent deliberately to find some kind of loophole in the security which could be exploited to send armed terrorists later. Bora said, ‘This operation is not only an achievement but also a lesson that whoever tries to step on Indian soil with nefarious intentions will meet the same fate as the intruder.’ Officials said that the body of the intruder was recovered from near the fencing on the border. The body has been handed over to the police for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
