Srinagar. The security situations on the India-Pakistan border and the LoC seem to be deteriorating. On Friday night, there were strong explosions in many cities of Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. In view of this, blackouts were done in cities and war sirens were played. People were appealed not to leave and stay in safe places.

It is being told that there have been drone attacks from Pakistan in Pokhran in Rajasthan including Jammu, Naushera, Samba, Uri, which has been destroyed by the Indian Army. According to the information, drone attacks were carried out at Jammu Airport for 12 minutes, but the security forces thwarted it.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah informed through the social media platform ‘X’ late on Friday night that there has been a blackout in the city and the sounds of sirers are being heard everywhere.

He said that from the place where he is, the loud sounds of the blasts, possibly heavy shelling are being heard continuously.

In view of this sensitive situation, the Chief Minister has appealed to the people not to leave the streets and be safe where they are. He has especially advised people from Jammu and its surrounding areas to stay at home or some safe place for the next few hours.

Omar Abdullah has also urged to avoid rumors and not share uncomfortable information on social media or other means. He expressed confidence that we will all face this situation together and get out of it.

Apart from this, there is also shelling in many sectors, on which the Indian Army is retaliating. Earlier on Thursday night too, Pakistan tried to attack a drone attack on many cities in India, which was thwarted by the Indian armed forces and retaliated against Pakistan.
