Picture of Bangladesh violence.
Islamabad: If there is any country that is most happy with the violence and chaos in Bangladesh, then it is its neighbor and enemy Pakistan…there are many reasons behind this. Bangladesh was separated from Pakistan. India’s role was most important in liberating Bangladesh and making it a separate country. This is the reason why Bangladesh was India’s best friend. But Pakistan and China wanted to make inroads in Bangladesh. That was not possible during the tenure of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Hasina’s staunch opponent Khalid Zia is a supporter of radical Islam and Pakistan. In such a situation, Pakistan has now hit a jackpot. Anti-India seeds are now being sown in Bangladesh. Therefore, Pakistan is the happiest.
On the third day of the coup in Bangladesh, Pakistan’s first reaction has come to the fore. Today, Pakistan has pretended to express solidarity and sympathy with the people of Bangladesh. Pakistan said that we hope that the situation in the country will return to normal soon. Let us tell you that due to the protests led by students regarding reservation in government jobs, Sheikh Hasina had to resign from the post of Prime Minister and go to India. The death toll in violence in Bangladesh has increased to 440.
Muhammad Younis is the head of the interim government
The army has taken power after Hasina’s resignation. Bangladesh President Mohammad Shahabuddin dissolved the parliament on Tuesday and appointed Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus (84) as the head of the upcoming interim government. Pakistan’s Foreign Office said in its first reaction to the developments in Bangladesh, “The government and people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh and sincerely hope for the return of normalcy soon.”
The Foreign Office said in a brief statement that the strong spirit and unity of the people of Bangladesh will lead them to a harmonious future. Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan in 1971. Hasina’s father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman played an important role in the formation of Bangladesh with the help of India. (Language)
