Para teachers tried their best to reach the Chief Minister’s residence. Police had to use lathis and fire tear gas shells to control the teachers.

Ranchi. Para teachers have been agitating for a long time demanding salary and once again they have started the movement under a new strategy. Under the program of gherao of Chief Minister’s residence, everyone started gathering in Morhabadi ground. In the beginning, the para teachers troubled the police a lot. Instead of going through the prescribed route, they took the help of lanes and mohallas to reach the Chief Minister’s residence. When the para teachers moved forward, the policemen also looked troubled. Barricades were put on all possible routes. Meanwhile, the crowd started moving forward near Ranchi College. But, when the situation went out of control, the police had to fire tear gas shells and also used mild lathi charge.

This struggle continued for a long time and then all the para teachers gathered near Oxygen Park behind Morhabadi Ground. The team of the district administration including Ranchi Deputy Commissioner and SSP reached there to talk to them and Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha assured to talk to the Education Minister. At the same time, he appealed to the para teachers to protest within the constitutional rules.

The Para teachers listened to the Deputy Commissioner’s words very seriously, but they did not agree with him. Giving a 24-hour ultimatum, the Para teachers said that the Education Minister should tell them through a letter when a positive dialogue would take place and if this does not happen then the patience of the Assistant Teachers will break and after 24 hours the door of the Chief Minister’s residence will be broken.

During the long struggle that lasted the whole day, Ranchi residents were also seen troubled by the traffic jam. In this fight of the teachers, the students also had to wait for hours in the bus for the traffic to clear. While the Para teachers have once again stood firm on their demands in Morhabadi ground, the administration is also making strong fortifications.
