New Delhi. The seat sharing formula has been decided in Bihar NDA for the Lok Sabha elections. Out of 40 Lok Sabha seats, BJP will contest on 17 while JDU will contest on 16. As was already being speculated, Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has got 5 seats. Apart from this, Upendra Kushwaha’s party Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party Hum will contest on one seat each. As it was already decided that NDA would not offer a single seat to the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party led by Chirag’s uncle Pashupati Paras, the same happened. However, there are also speculations that Pashupati Paras has been offered the post of Governor, although there is no confirmation of this from anywhere. Now the interesting thing is what will be the further stand of Pashupati Paras? Everyone’s eyes are on whether Pashupati Paras, the current MP from Hajipur seat, will remain in NDA or will rebel and contest against Chirag from Hajipur seat.
It is noteworthy that Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party President Pashupati Paras, while showing his attitude on March 15, had said that today in our parliamentary board meeting, it has been decided that we will wait until the list of BJP candidates is released. If we are not given due respect after the announcement of candidates, then our party is independent and our doors are open. We will be ready to go anywhere. He has also said that he will contest elections from Hajipur only. According to sources, it is also being discussed that RJD has offered Pashupati Paras to join the grand alliance and offer three seats. Sources are saying that Paras will announce his decisions in a press conference tomorrow i.e. on Tuesday.
#WATCH Delhi: On the announcement of seat-sharing in Bihar, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan said, “…from the information I am getting from the party, I will contest elections from Hajipur somewhere.” pic.twitter.com/3uMVejvAZ1

After the final approval by NDA on the seats, Chirag Paswan has also clearly said in his response that if I am getting the Hajipur seat, I will contest elections from there somewhere. Let us tell you that after the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, Lok Janshakti Party was divided into two factions. Chirag calls himself the real successor of Ram Vilas Paswan. Pashupati Paras says that Chirag may be the heir to the property, but politically I am the real heir of Ram Vilas Paswan. Hajipur has been the workplace and constituency of late Ram Vilas Paswan. The dispute between Chirag and his uncle regarding Hajipur seat is well known. In such a situation, if Chirag and Pashupati Paras contest against each other, then the election will definitely be interesting.
