New Delhi. A passenger on board a Delhi-Bangalore flight has hit out at Air India for providing a seat with a broken window despite paying extra. Despite the airline’s efforts to seek assistance from an engineer, the passenger alleged that the broken seat could not be repaired properly. The passenger wrote, “I paid extra Rs 1000 for a broken window seat (22A) on Air India AI512 from DEL to BLR on 4th April.”
The caption of the post read, “The airline called an engineer to fix it, but he could not fix it. Is this what I paid the flight fare for? Can’t I at least expect a proper seat after paying so much?”

Air India responded to the passenger’s tweet after asking for booking details and later assured the person that the airline will thoroughly investigate the issue and implement necessary measures to address it.
When an ‘X’ user asked a passenger whether the airline had asked them about ‘refunds or alternate seats?’ To which the passenger replied, ‘No, he did not do that.’ Probably because they want us to pay thousands for the flight only to sit on a broken seat.
