-Medical Education Secretary gave instructions to all hospitals affiliated to medical colleges

Medical Education Secretary Ambarish Kumar gave instructions in this regard at a high level meeting held at the Directorate of Medical Education on Friday. He said that the way parents take care of their children, the patient should be served with the same spirit. Principal of all 29 medical colleges and superintendents of 81 hospitals affiliated to all 29 medical colleges were present in the meeting.
There must be a month in DDC and three months stock in sub store
The Medical Education Secretary said that to provide the best treatment to the common people in hospitals, it is the top priority of the state government to strengthen the arrangements for investigation, medicine and treatment. Constant corrective steps will be taken from this point of view. He said that in view of the conditions of scorching heat and heat stroke, proper arrangements should be ensured in all hospitals. There is no shortage in the arrangements of fans, coolers, AC, drinking water, shadow, cleanliness, testing, medicine and treatment in any hospital. He said that one month at drug distribution centers and three months stock on sub -store were necessary. In case of less stock than this, immediately the basis of e -medicine stock should be sent.
PWD outpost should be set up for 24 hours work
The Medical Education Secretary said that two electricians of speedy disposal of electricity related problems should be kept in all hospitals. Also, he instructed the Public Works Department to conduct an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for both civil and electricity works in all hospitals. He said that the contractor will have to set up a 24×7 post in the hospital premises, in which electricians, plumber, carpenter and mistry will be deployed, which will be available for repair work round the clock.
Ensure activity of oxygen plants
The Medical Education Secretary, while emphasizing on the smooth operation of oxygen plants set up in hospitals connected to the medical colleges of the state, said that wherever the plants are closed due to lack of maintenance, they should be fixed by fixing them with immediate effect. Also, be sure to pay oxygen refilling on time. He said that the responsibility of nodal officers and institute in -charge will be fixed in case of chaos in hospitals. There will be no tolerance in the treatment of patients.
Budget announcements not delayed
Ambarish Kumar directed to take immediate action on time-bound disposal of e-files and e-dak, immediate action on negative news. He said that completing the budget announcements on time is the top priority of the state government. Keeping this in mind, the timeline of the announcements should be determined and the action related to them should be taken on time. Also, along with completing the civil works in hospitals on time, their quality should be taken care of.
Health facilities seen in JK Lone Hospital
Earlier, the Medical Education Secretary reached JK Loan Hospital and conducted a thorough inspection of wards, ICU, testing lab, drug distribution center etc. and instructed the officials to improve. He said that work on crowd management and Q management should be started in the hospital, so that people get rid of queues.
Senior officials of the department were present on the occasion.
