Patiala. Patiala Police has recently achieved great success in two separate cases. Police have arrested the accused who looted a petrol pump and the accused who were caught with weapons and drugs.
Patiala Police has achieved a major success in the robbery case at Swaran Petrol Pump located near Chandigarh Road Toll Plaza. In this robbery incident, two youths had looted Rs 33,000 at gunpoint. During investigation of the case, it was found that the petrol pump employee was also an accomplice of these robbers. Police has arrested four accused in this case, while the search for one accused is on.
In another case, Patiala police have arrested two accused from whom 32 bore pistols, several cartridges and 20 grams of heroin have been recovered. This action is a significant achievement for the police, which has taken strict action against criminals.
SSP Patiala Dr Nanak Singh IPS said that these arrests are the result of the vigilance and hard work of the police. These actions will contribute significantly in preventing crime in the city.
