Bhilai. The patient’s life was saved by constructing a green corridor in Durg district for the third consecutive day. Due to the Green Corridor, the patient was shifted from Sector-9 Hospital to Ramakrishna Care Hospital in Raipur in just 35 minutes. Councilor Vashistha Narayan Mishra got the Green Corridor built twice in these three days.
Sector-1 councilor Vashisht Narayan Mishra said that MH Ansari, a resident of Sector-1, got an attack. When his health started deteriorating at eight in the morning, he was admitted to Sector-9 Hospital for treatment. The family members contacted Vashisht Narayan Mishra, senior councilor of Sector-1.
Seeing the situation, the doctors asked him to refer him to Raipur.
Councilor Vashisht contacted DSP of Traffic Police Gurjit Singh for the Green Corridor. Highway patrolling was provided without delay. At 4.10 pm green corridor was made and shifted from Sector-9 Hospital to Ramkrishna Care Raipur. Councilor Vashisht told that the treatment of the patient has started. Expert doctors have started the treatment.
Vashisht Narayan Mishra has demanded an ambulance with ventilator.
He says that the city of Bhilai needs an ambulance and a dead body with ventilator. Both the things are very important in view of the increasing population of the city. For this, Councilor Vashisht Narayan Mishra from Sector-1 had written a letter to the Corporation Commissioner and Collector.
After his letter, work has started on it. Today Corporation Commissioner Prakash Survey has written a letter to BSP Director Incharge Anirban Dasgupta. In which it has been said that ventilatorized ambulances and dead bodies should be provided from BSP’s CSR item.

Lift facility started in district hospital
On Saturday, former civil surgeon Dr. P. Balkishore inaugurated the second lift operated in the Maternity and Child Department of the District Hospital by cutting the ribbon. Two lifts are being provided in the Maternity and Child Department.
In which one is earmarked for patients and their relatives and the other for lift staff. CMHO Dr. Gambhir Singh Thakur, In-charge Civil Surgeon Dr. RK Devangan, RMO Dr. Akhilesh Yadav, Dr. Sanjay Balbendre, Dr. Vinita Dhurve, Dr. Kunti Thakur, Executive member of Jeevan Deep Committee Dilip Thakur , Dushyant Devangan, Rahul Sharma, Prashant Dongavkar and others were present. Dr. P. Balkishore, a former civil surgeon, had worked hard behind the start of this service. For this reason he was specially invited.
