All India Institute of Ayurveda, one of the biggest hospitals in Delhi, is constantly taking big steps for the convenience of patients. To get rid of the daily increasing crowd in OPD and the hours-long queue to get OPD card made before medical examination, the hospital has launched the facility of online app. Now patients will be able to get OPD token from home and can come to the hospital and get the card made in minutes.
About 2500 patients come from far off places every day to get health benefits in the 42 different OPDs of the All India Institute of Ayurveda located in Sarita Vihar of the Ministry of AYUSH, but due to the lack of online appointment system, they have to wait for hours to get a token. To solve this problem, the hospital has now launched its app Rooj. With this, like other hospitals in Delhi including AIIMS, patients will be able to get tokens online in AIIA as well.

In the information given by AIIA, it was told that to make the appointment easier, you can also download the Rooj app from Google Play Store or Apple Store. After installing, you will have to create a login on Rooj app for which an OTP will come on your mobile and your Aabha i.e. Ayushman Bharat Health Account will be created in a few easy steps. With the help of Aabha ID, you can also keep your medical records safe in future. After registration in this, you will get a token number with the help of which you can easily get your OPD card made.
Not only this, a help desk has also been set up to help the elderly and other patients. This app can be used from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 11:30 am, while on Saturdays patients can avail this facility from 8 am to 10:30 am. For this, you can get a token number from home and this will save people’s valuable time and resources.
The institute’s director Dr. (Prof) Tanuja Nesri expressed happiness over the launch of the app and said that we are committed to providing the best services to the patients and this Aabha ID is a new change which will save the patients from the inconveniences of sun, rain and cold and we will be able to serve the patients in a better way. Recently, the institute has also launched some new counters to reduce the time taken in distribution of medicines. These steps of the institute will benefit the patients more in the coming time and treatment of a large number of patients will be possible.
