Bikaner. The Rajasthan Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB), while taking action on Tuesday, arrested Revenue Patwari Deepchand Meena working in Khajuwala area of Bikaner district while taking a bribe of Rs 8,000. ACB Director General Dr. Ravi Prakash Meharra said that the Bikaner unit of the bureau had received a complaint that a bribe of Rs 9,000 is being sought by Patwari in lieu of compensation for the crop of the complainant. The trap scheme was prepared after investigation by ACB.
In this action taken under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Mahavir Prasad Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent Mahesh Shrimali and other officials caught the accused Patwari as soon as they accepted the bribe amount. The accused has been identified as 24 -year -old Deepchand Meena, resident Chak 6 KKM, Tehsil Pugal, District Bikaner.
The accused is being questioned in the supervision of Additional Director General of Police, Smt. Smita Srivastava, Additional Director General of ACB. Further investigation will be done by filing a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act in the case.
