Jaipur. Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara has taken a tough stand on not providing expected support in the party’s organization empowerment campaign and indifference in organizational activities. Taking cognizance of the report received from the office bearers and assembly coordinators in charge of the State Congress Committee, Dotasara has issued show cause notices to the presidents of 17 Block Congress committees of the state, and has sought answers from them within 7 days. Giving information about this action, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary and media in -charge Swarnim Chaturvedi said that assembly coordinators were appointed by the State Congress Committee in all the assembly constituencies. These coordinators were entrusted with the responsibility of accelerating the functions of the organization and identifying the active and inactive workers and officials of the Congress at the booth, board and block levels.
Chaturvedi said that under this campaign, all the assembly coordinators held meetings up to the block and mandal level in their charge assembly constituencies. In these meetings, important topics were discussed with the activities of the organization as well as the appointment of booth level agent (BLA) and filling the vacant posts. After the meetings, the report of all the assembly constituencies was presented before the President of the State Congress Committee Govind Singh Dotasara.
After personally communicating ‘One-to-One’ with the coordinators, State President Govind Singh Dotasara marked the block Congress presidents who did not play an active role in the activities of the organization and indifferent to the party’s functions. While issuing notice to 17 such block Congress presidents, they have been instructed to submit their explanation within 7 days.
This action has taken place at a time when the Congress party is emphasizing on strengthening its organization in the state and activating workers for the upcoming elections. This step of Dotasara is considered a clear message towards ensuring discipline and accountability within the party.
