Pema Khandu has been declared the leader of the BJP Legislative Party and will once again take over the post of Chief Minister of the state. After this, Pema Khandu thanked everyone through a tweet on his Twitter handle. He wrote, ‘I am very honored to be unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party in Arunachal Pradesh. With utmost humility, I accept the responsibility of leading the BJP for another term of development-oriented governance in line with the vision of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.’ He said in one of his threads, ‘I am grateful to my fellow BJP MLAs who reposed faith in me. I also thank my MPs, party leaders and workers who worked day and night to ensure a spectacular victory in the elections.’
How many seats did BJP win?
There are a total of 60 assembly seats in Arunachal Pradesh. The counting of votes for the assembly elections held in the state was completed on June 2. According to the results, BJP has won a big victory in the state. BJP got 46 out of 60 seats. Talking about the National People’s Party (NPEP), this party got 5 seats. People’s Party of Arunachal Pradesh (PPA) has won 2 seats in the state. While the National Congress Party (NCP) won 3 seats. Congress has got only 1 seat in this state. At the same time, three independent candidates have won.
