During this period, a total of 19,202 units of Maruti Swift have been sold, which is about 5.24% less than last year. At the same time, there has been a tremendous jump in the sales of the Dzire, during this time a total of 17,438 units of this compact sedan have been sold, which was just 11,901 units during the same month last year. It has become the second largest selling car in the country.
Maruti Wagon R is on the third position with a total of 14,669 units. At the same time, Baleno and Nexon have been on the fourth, fifth position, whose sales have been 12,570 units and 12,259 units respectively. Maruti Ertiga was the sixth best selling car in the country and the cheapest car Alto stood at seventh position with just 11,551 units. Its sales have seen a decline of 31.72%.

Maruti Suzuki recently updated its hatchback car and introduced it in the market, in which along with cosmetic changes, a new engine is also seen. The company claims that this car gives more mileage than the previous model. Coming in a total of four variants, the company has used a 1.2-liter dual-jet petrol engine in this car, which generates 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual and automatic gearbox.
As a feature, this car has a 4.2-inch colored driver display which comes with cruise control. Apart from this, the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, height adjustable driving seat, automatic AC, LED daytime running lights and headlamps make this car even better. As for safety, the AMT variant gets Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Hold Control. Apart from this, all other variants get features like Rear Parking Sensor, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Dual Airbags, Speed Alert System.

Its price ranges from Rs 5.90 lakh to Rs 8.77 lakh. Its manual variant gives a mileage of 23.20 km and AMT variant gives a mileage of 23.76 kmpl. In the market, this car mainly competes with cars like Hyundai i10, Tata Tiago.
