New Delhi. Businessman Robert Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, answered many questions on various issues including politics in a special conversation. He was also asked a question about Congress leaders not accepting the invitation to the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program, on which he said that Congress is a secular party and respects every religion.
Robert Vadra further said that I feel that Congress stays away from the politics of religion. In such a situation, Congress leaders do not want the country to disintegrate. Vadra told IANS, “When people are in trouble, they go to God. If they are divided whether they have to come to the temple or the mosque or the Gurudwara, then it will be wrong.”
On the question of seeing Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Ministerial candidate, he said that whatever the ‘India’ alliance wants, as well as whatever the people of the country want, only that person will become the Prime Minister. But along with this he also said that Rahul has a lot of intelligence. Vadra said, “Rahul Gandhi has learned a lot from his grandmother, father, Sonia ji, so he definitely deserves it. If he becomes the Prime Minister, there will definitely be progress in the country and the communal tension in the country will go away.”
On the question of big leaders becoming disillusioned with the Congress, Robert Vadra said, “I feel that whatever leaders are leaving either they do not have the ability to work hard or they are being pulled by giving some lure or they are being given ministerial posts. It turns out that if he is not a minister then they have a problem with him. “Such leaders just want tickets or positions, only then they will remain in that party.”
On Prime Minister Modi’s statement on the imprint of Muslim League in the Congress manifesto, he said that you can say anything on anyone’s manifesto, but now people are looking towards progress, people want the leaders to talk about progress. Talk about improving the problems that are there. Putting so much emphasis on the manifesto will not benefit them.
