Weather Rain Update: There is severe heat in many states of the country. At the same time, there is torrential rain in the southern states. However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that severe heat will continue in the northern parts of India for the next 3-4 days. On the contrary, there is a strong possibility that extremely heavy rains will continue in Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim for the next few days.
According to the Meteorological Department, if we talk about the country’s capital Delhi, it is experiencing severe heat here. Although there was a dust storm yesterday, there was no relief from the heat. Here last night was also like the afternoon. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday night was recorded at 33.3 degrees. This temperature is not only the highest in June, but in the last 14 years, there has never been such a temperature on June 14. Monsoon is expected to arrive in Delhi after June 27.

Where is the monsoon stuck?
The IMD said that the monsoon may reach Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and the northwest Bay of Bengal during the next three to four days. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to reach Bihar and Jharkhand by June 16-18, Uttar Pradesh by June 20-30 and Delhi around June 27.
Bihar, Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh remain in red alert areas. The Meteorological Department has predicted that Bihar and Jharkhand will experience severe heat on June 15. In contrast, western and eastern Uttar Pradesh will experience severe heat from June 15 to June 17. Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar are likely to experience severe heat till June 15. Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Haryana will not get relief from the heat for the next four days. Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and northwestern Madhya Pradesh are likely to experience severe heat from June 15 to June 16.
Weather condition of other states of the country
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and heavy rain at some places is possible over Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, South Chhattisgarh, South Odisha, Sikkim and Assam. Light to moderate rain is possible over Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Northeast India, South-West Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir.
Light rains may occur over South Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, parts of South Gujarat, South-East Rajasthan, North Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are possible over Gangetic West Bengal, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Heat wave conditions are likely over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and parts of Bihar.
