The body of Varun Singh, who lost his life in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, was brought from Bangalore to Bhopal on Thursday. A large number of people had gathered to pay tribute to Capt. Air Force officers and MP government minister Vishwas Sarang also paid tribute to him by reaching Bhopal airport. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also announced a grant of one crore to the family of Group Captain Varun Singh.

After talking with the family members, it was also announced to give a government job to one member of the house. The Chief Minister said that keeping in mind the sentiments of the family, a decision would also be taken to give Varun Singh’s statue or any institution his name. Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania told that the last rites of Varun Singh will be performed on Friday at Bhadbhada Vishram Ghat. Let us tell you that 13 officers including CDS Vipin Singh Rawat and his wife were martyred in the Coonoor accident. In which Varun Singh survived. But he also died during treatment.
