Kaithal. Haryana’s Public Works and Public Health Minister Ranbir Gangwa said that roads and streets are public facilities directly related to the common people. Clean drinking water supply is necessary in every house and a good road as soon as you leave the house. That is why there will be no compromise in the quality of drinking water and roads. Officials should ensure that people get clean drinking water and the quality of roads is such that they do not break down prematurely. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the central and state governments have a clear policy that there should be no compromise on quality in any development work. They themselves can also visit the road, drinking water supply center or STP in any village or city at any time. Therefore, improve the system there in time, if any negligence is found then strict action will definitely be taken.

Public Works and Public Health Minister Ranbir Gangwa, in the first meeting of Public Works Department officials on Saturday, the Minister obtained information about the ongoing projects of the department in Kaithal district.

He said that the officers should keep in mind that even if the agency takes the tender at a lower rate than the prescribed rate, it is its duty to ensure the quality. Quality will not be compromised at any level. If flaws are found by taking tender at low rate then it will be due to lack of agency and officers. He also got information about the plan to spend an amount of Rs 25 crore according to Halka. Whatever money comes for roads, it should be spent 100 percent. Officials should ensure that the agency does not use all the old material by uprooting the road in road construction.

While giving instructions to the officials of the Public Health Department, he said that in earlier times, people used to spend their money and provide water to drinking water. It is my good fortune and that of the officers that they have got the opportunity to serve drinking water to the people. Therefore, considering it as your employment as well as looking at it from a religious point of view, ensure that clean drinking water is provided to people’s homes. He said that STMAT should be made keeping the future in mind. Be it STP or drinking water project, inspect the filters and other machinery from time to time and ensure cleanliness. Discussing the roads or streets that were uprooted while laying sewerage, the Minister said that such incomplete works not only cause inconvenience to the people but also affect the image of the government. When all the money is being spent on a work, it should not be left incomplete. The Minister also assured to quickly fulfill the needs stated by the officials for roads, drinking water supply and STP etc. of the district.
