Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the violent incident in Birbhum, West Bengal. Regarding the incident, PM Modi said on Wednesday that I hope that the state government will punish the guilty. The central government will help in getting the culprits punished. PM Modi further said that I would also urge the people of Bengal to never forgive the perpetrators of such incidents, those who encourage such criminals.
PM Modi inaugurated the Biplabi Bharat Gallery at Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata via video conferencing on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day on Wednesday. At the inauguration, PM Modi expressed grief over the Birbhum violence in Bengal and said, “I hope that the state government will definitely get those who commit such a heinous sin on the great land of Bengal punished.” I would also urge the people of Bengal to never forgive the perpetrators of such incidents, those who encourage such criminals.
