India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that there will be heat wave in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana in the next few days. Along with this, IMD has said that there will be rain in 9 states in the next few days. Apart from this, Karnataka and Telangana will also be affected by hot night conditions. According to the Meteorological Department, hot and humid weather conditions will be seen in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry and Gujarat till April 10.

IMD has predicted light to moderate rain with isolated thunderstorm and lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next 6 days. IMD has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Jharkhand till April 10. There is a possibility of moderate rain in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra till April 12.
Delhi’s climate
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of increase in the temperature of the capital Delhi due to strong sunlight. The Meteorological Department estimates that the maximum temperature of Delhi will increase by two degrees in the next two days. However, due to the activation of another western disturbance after Friday, the people of Delhi will get respite from the scorching heat.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is possible over Gangetic West Bengal, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain with isolated thunder, lightning and strong winds (40-50 kmph) may occur over West Bengal, Northeast India, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Central Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, between April 9 and 12, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, parts of Telangana and Karnataka may receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-50 km per hour). Hailstorm activities are also possible in isolated areas of Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Marathwada.
