Phalguna Amavasya 2022. According to the Hindu calendar, the last day of the year is the new moon of Falgun month. After this the Hindu New Year begins from the month of Chaitra. There is one new moon and one full moon in every month of the year. In mythological beliefs, special importance has been given to Amavasya and Purnima dates. It is believed that Falgun Amavasya brings salvation to the ancestors. This time the Amavasya date of Falgun month is on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. On the day of Amavasya, donations, tarpan and Shradh etc. are done for the ancestors. This gives the blessings of the ancestors. Bathing in holy rivers on this day gives special results. It is said that bathing in holy rivers on the day of Falgun Amavasya brings blessings of gods and goddesses.
Two auspicious yogas will be formed on Falgun Amavasya
Falgun Amavasya Tithi will start from 01:00 PM on Tuesday, 1st March till 11:04 PM on 2nd March. This time two auspicious yogas are being created on Falgun Amavasya. First Shiva Yoga and second Siddha Yoga. Shiva Yoga will be there till 08:21 in the morning, then Siddha Yoga will start after that. Siddha Yoga will remain till 05:43 am on March 3. It is believed that every work done in these auspicious yogas leads to success.
Amavasya of Falgun month is dedicated to ancestors
By the way, the new moon date of every month is dedicated to the ancestors. On the new moon day of Falgun month, you can satisfy the ancestors and get their blessings. On this special day, ancestors should be worshiped, donated and worshipped. Apart from this, reciting the seventh chapter of the Gita is auspicious. Due to this the ancestors get freedom from sufferings. Worshiping Peepal on this day is considered auspicious. By doing this, Pitra Dosh is also removed.

For the fulfillment of ancestors on Falgun Amavasya, Pind Daan, Shradh, Tarpan and Puja should be done. This time the auspicious time for this is from 11:30 am to 02:30 pm.
