Jolly also stressed that the actions of some people ‘do not have the consent of the whole community or Canada.’ Jaishankar has said about the news of the names of Indian diplomats on Khalistani posters in Canada that the issue will be taken up with the Canadian government. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Bharatiya Janata Party’s public relations campaign program in New Delhi on Monday, Jaishankar said that ‘extremist, extremist’ Khalistani thinking is not good for India or allied countries like America, Britain, Canada, Australia.

It is neither good for them nor for our relations with them (those countries). “We will take up the issue of the poster with the government there (Canadian),” he said. I believe that by now this (taking up the issue with the Canadian government) would have already been done.
