A very embarrassing and shocking incident has come to light from Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. Here, a college student played a terrible game of sexual abuse and blackmailing with a college student. The police have arrested the three accused for raping the student several times and blackmailing them.
What is the case?
Physics lecturer Narendra, biology lecturer Sandeep and his friend Anoop are employed at a private college in Moodbidri town in Mangaluru district. The victim is also a student of this college. According to the police, Narendra was close to the victim and he used to provide her studies notes.
Initially, Narendra made contact with the student on the pretext of giving education notes and increased friendship by messaging continuously. He then called the student to Anoop’s room in Bangalore where she was raped. After this, Narendra threatened that if anyone says about this incident, he would have to face serious consequences.
The second lecturer also joined
A few days later, biology lecturer Sandeep also started molesting the student. When the student opposed it, Sandeep also started blackmailing her. He claimed that he had pictures and videos of the student with Narendra. Sandeep also raped the student at Anoop’s house. Apart from this, Anoop scared the student by showing CCTV footage of entering her room and then sexually abused.
The victim broke silence
Could not tolerate continuous sexual harassment and blackmailing, the student told this tragic incident to her parents in Bengaluru. After this, the family contacted the Karnataka State Women’s Commission and lodged a complaint at Marathahalli Police Station.
Police action
After the complaint, the police immediately took action and arrested the three accused Narendra, Sandeep and Anoop and produced them in the court. Police said that in the initial investigation, it has been suspected that the accused would also be sexually abused other students by blackmailing them.

This case is a serious warning for youth and especially girls studying in college. Such crimes not only endanger the safety of students by teachers and administrative officials but also spread fear and mistrust in the society. The Police and the Women’s Commission have assured that they will investigate the matter and give the culprits harsh punishment so that such incidents do not happen in future.
