A helicopter crashed in Gaurikund area near Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand on Sunday morning. All 7 people, including the pilot, died in this accident at around 5:20 am. Among those who lost their lives in the accident, Pilot Rajveer Singh Chauhan, resident of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan, is also included. He was a resident of Shastri Nagar area and retired from the army as Lieutenant Colonel.
Service for 14 years in army
After serving in the army for about 14 years, he joined as a pilot civil aviation area. According to sources close to the family, Rajveer Singh became the father of twins a few months ago, causing happiness in the house. All the passengers in the helicopter are said to be devotees, who were returning after seeing Baba Kedarnath. The accident occurred due to technical fault or due to weather, it will be confirmed only after investigation.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed condolences. Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot mourned the death of a Jaipur pilot in the Kedarnath helicopter crash.
