On Holi, some people apply such strong colors which become difficult to remove. Many times these colors do not come off easily even after washing with soap or applying oil. Repeatedly rubbing the face with soap makes the skin even drier. The color gets completely absorbed inside the rough layers of the skin. In this, some people start getting irritation on their face due to frequent washing of face and removing chemical colors. People whose skin is sensitive get rashes on their face or their skin starts turning red. In such a situation, adopting some measures immediately can provide relief. Know how to reduce dryness, redness and pimples of the skin after color removal?
Apply aloe vera gel- If your skin has become very dry and lifeless due to the process of removing color, then avoid rubbing too much. After cleaning the face, apply aloe vera gel thoroughly. This will reduce dryness and provide relief from irritation on the skin. Applying aloe vera hydrates the skin and helps in healing the skin.
Curd pack- Some people experience skin irritation due to chemical colours. Curd is an effective solution for this. To reduce dryness of the face, you can mix some honey in curd and apply it on the face. This will cool the skin and make it very soft.
Apply raw milk- Instead of washing your face repeatedly with soap, use raw milk to remove color. Apply raw milk on the face with the help of cotton and rub it gently. Keep it like this for a while and then wash it with water. This will bring back the lost moisture of the skin and also soothe the irritation.
Multani Mitti- People who have rashes due to colors on their skin should apply a face pack made of multani mitti and rose water on their face. This will cool the skin and reduce the rashes. By applying multani mitti the redness of the skin will also start reducing.
