India is the fastest growing economy in the world
Speaking at BT India@100 Summit, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that it is India’s time, PM Modi (PM Narendra Modi) has also boosted the morale of the entire country by saying that India stands firmly in every situation. Our farmers, entrepreneurs do not have to worry, India is going to be ahead in the new world system. Piyush Goyal said that India today is the fastest growing economy in the world and the world has accepted it. Speaking on the Indo-US trade agreement, he said that they are demanding to open our market for their dairy-agricultural products, but all the business agreements we have made so far, have not opened the market for them in any of them and the Indian government has always taken care of the interests of its farmers, has not compromised with them.

At this time, not only the world, but also India is moving forward on new trade paths. He said that there are many examples of turning disaster into opportunity in India. The Union Minister mentioned the crisis in the world’s IT industry in 1999, known as the Y2K crisis.
He said, ‘At 12 o’clock on the night of 31 December 1999, all the arrangements collapsed and the world came into panic. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister of India at that time. He saw it as an opportunity and gave complete freedom to the IT sector by eliminating government intervention in various ways. Today India’s IT industry is worth $ 300 billion and is providing employment to millions of people. We did not look back.
India showed its strength even during Corona
Speaking at the program, Piyush Goyal mentioned the Korona period and said that even during this epidemic, India showed its strength and proved all speculation wrong. He said that during the Korona epidemic, people felt that India would not be able to withstand it and the situation like starvation would arise. But India showed its strength and we not only researched the vaccine in the country, but also built it.
Piyush Goyal said, ‘At that time India provided free vaccine to more than 100 countries of the world. These also included poor countries which were not ready to provide any help. He clearly stated that during the Corona period in India, not a single person died of starvation, but the government gave double ration to 80 crore people. According to the Union Minister, we became self -sufficient by recovering from this epidemic and all this was possible only on the strength of our Annadata farmers. We also turned Kovid into an opportunity. No matter how many difficulties, India will be the winner.
