If yes, then be cautious! Because it has now become a new weapon with the “emotional fraud” of cheating. Now cyber thugs play with your feelings not only by becoming a bank worker or police, but by playing the role of a helpless, crying girl. She says – “Scholarship will stop”, “Job will not be lagge”, “Fire officer’s posting will miss” – and then asks for information about OTP on your mobile. But as soon as you share that OTP, your bank account gets empty – and that girl is actually a cyber thug, who is either a man herself or is making a girl’s voice with the help of AI.
Cases reported in Indore, Udaipur and Rajasthan
Manan, who lives in Sector-4, received a call from a girl. He said – “I have got the job of fire officer in Delhi, but mistaken it has gone to your number, please tell!” Thought turned out to be intelligent, he did not say OTP and survived a big fraud.
Imran of Mallatlai got a similar call. The girl weeping said that scholarship has to be found, but the mobile number has made a mistake. If you want OTP or else studies will be missed. Imran immediately complained to the cyber helpline number.
What does police and expert team say?
Rajkumar Jakhar, cyber expert of Hiranmagri police station, said that many complaints of this new kind of fraud are being received. At the same time, Cyber Security Expert Manas Trivedi says that these criminals make the voice of the girl with the help of AI and get the mercy of the people by becoming innocent.
