New Delhi. During the Lok Sabha elections, in a program, PM Narendra Modi had told the officers to prepare themselves because after taking oath as PM for the third time, he will have a lot of work to do. Apart from this, before the Lok Sabha elections, Modi had instructed the officers of all the ministries to prepare a blueprint of the first 100 days of work of his third government. Later, Modi also added work for the youth in it and prepared a blueprint for a total of 125 days of work. Now the government has been formed and PM Modi has come into action from the very first day.
There are 72 ministers in PM Modi’s cabinet. Out of these, 30 are cabinet ministers, 5 are ministers of state with independent charge and 36 are ministers of state. The distribution of ministries to all of them is likely to happen today. At the same time, PM Modi has called a cabinet meeting at 5 pm today. Important decisions are expected to be taken in this. Earlier on Sunday, PM Modi had called all the ministers who took oath to his residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg and hosted a tea party for them. Before that tea party, he also addressed the MPs of BJP and allied parties who were to become ministers. In his address, Modi told all the MPs who were to become ministers how to run the government and how to conduct themselves.
In the last 10 years, BJP has been getting majority on its own in the Lok Sabha elections. This time it did not happen. BJP could win only 240 Lok Sabha seats. At the same time, NDA allies TDP got 16 and JDU got 12 MPs elected. Along with the MPs of some other small parties, the government has 292 seats. However, despite this, in the NDA meeting held after the results of the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi had clearly announced that his government will take big and tough decisions. Now everyone’s eyes are on what important decisions the Modi government takes in the first cabinet meeting.
