India last won these medals in shooting at the 2012 London Olympics, when rapid-fire pistol shooter Vijay Kumar and 10m air rifle shooter Gagan Narang won bronze medals.
Two Korean players got gold and silver medals
At the Paris Olympics, 22-year-old Manu Bhaker worked hard to win the bronze medal with a score of 221. Korea’s Kim Yeji won the silver medal with a total score of 241.3. Korea’s Hee Jin Ye Oh won the gold medal with a score of 243.
