Wayanad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey of the landslide-affected areas in Wayanad, Kerala. After this, he visited the disaster-affected site. During the aerial survey, PM Modi saw the landslide site at the origin of the Iruvazhinji Puzha river. Along with this, he also inspected the areas most affected by the tragedy. Demand to declare national disaster

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for those who died in the landslide and Rs 50,000 each for the injured. Kerala Chief Minister P. Vijayan said that the state government is providing all possible help to the victims.
